Edinburgh International Science Festival is an educational charity which aims to engage all of society in the wonder and value of science and technology, placing a particularly strong emphasis on giving children experiences of science that are inspiring and confidence building. The desire is to create "ah-ha" moments in the minds of our visitors that illuminate for them the magic and mysteries of our world.
We choose to do these things through face to face encounters, whether at a performance of a show, a presentation or a workshop run by one of our many science communicators.
Edinburgh International Film Festival

Royal HIghland Show

The Royal Highland Show is Scotland's premier agricultural Show which also prides itself on being one of the absolute best events of its kind in the UK. Held over four days, it showcases all aspects of farming and rural life with a good measure of equestrianism in addition. Participants in 2008 included 1700 exhibitors in livestock and competitions, with over 5,000 animals, and over 850 trade stand holders with over 161,000 visitors making their way to the Show site
